You most likely will not get a shredded six pack in a month. If this was possible we would see a lot more people with six packs running around. You need to do cardio to lose fat because just doing 300 sit ups isn't going to do the trick. You have to lose the fat that is laying on top of the muscles before you can see the definition underneath. Nutrition is also very important. You need to watch what you eat and make sure you are eating the right things, like lean meats, healthy fats, veggies, and fruits. And lastly you have to fatigue your abs when doing your workouts. I do the p90x ab workout which is really intense. You do over 300 reps and 11 different ab exercises. And the great part about it is it only takes like 15 minutes. You don't need any weights or machines. Do that three times a week, add cardio into your weekly schedule, and eat healthy and you are well on your way to a six pack.

There are three main aspects you will need to reach your goals: cardio, a workout routine, good nutrition. And no matter what anyone tells you, don't take any pill or supplement. Cheating will not give you the body you want, nor will your body stay in shape for as long.

Cardio - Find an elliptical machine, treadmill, or anything else you can find and start running 3 times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes. Your goal should be an hour. Once you work your way up to an hour, start increasing the resistance. This will help burn fat and improve your cardiovascular system. Whenever you run, make sure you never drop below 3.0mph, if you do lower the resistance and if you don't have any resistance on then walk until you catch your breath before you try to stay above the 3.0 mark again.

Workout Routine- You are going to really focus on your mid-section and lower back in order to start pushing away the fat. Since your body naturally stores fat in this area to protect your organs, focusing on this area will have the best benefit. Below is a link to some very effective workout routines and ab exercises:

I'd also invest some money in a book called The Truth About Six Pack Abs. It goes into great detail about understanding your body, showing you the most effective workouts to burn fat, teaches you the right mind set to be in, and comes with a ton of nutrition plans that will help you reach your goals. You can read my review here:

Lastly is nutrition - Nutrition accounts for about 50% of your success to having a better looking body. If you currently snack on anything unhealthy, it's time you stopped eating all of that, including dessert. If you need a snack, stick with fruits and vegetables.

It will also be more beneficial to eat 6 smaller meals a day compared to 3 regular ones. These smaller meals gets your body into a habit of constantly burning fat. This will help you lose weight and tone up faster.

I hope this helps, and best of luck to your goals!

Not going to happen. It will take longer but you need to do two things. 1) Cut your overall bodyfat and 2) Increase the muscle mass of your abs by increasing the resistance NOT the repetitions of your ab workouts.

I don't know if you'll get it in a month... but trying jogging along with the crunches, maybe jog 1-2 miles per evening and also doing 50-100 crunches twice a day. My doctor reccomended this regimen to prevent a hernia and a weak abdominal area. Of course, don't jump in and do it all at once - rather start slow and build up.
