is that slendertone flex belt (the thing that contracts your muscles for you) worth buying? I’ve read good things about it, but im not sure.

crunches
God no that is the biggest waste of time, crunches and leg lifts are the way to go.
They don’t work at all. What works is eating better and smaller portions (80-90% of fat loss comes from what you are eating). If you are only looking to tone up, try pilates. I have found it works very well for the core.
99% of the things they sell on tv are a waste of money. Why not just spend that money for a gym membership and work out with all the ab machines they have there?
Don’t purchase the belt because I know someone who has it, which did nothing. Just do crunches and situps everyday in the morning, evening, and night. It works. Trust me.
PX90 it’s a 3 month workout that helps you lose weight and tighten your abs
swiss ball .. I think is worth getting .. I’ve been using one and it has done great .. keeps your body in good form so you aren’t hurting your back and neck when you do crunches.. maybe try “Core Secrets” by Gunnar peterson .. I don’t personally have the DVDs .. but have seen the informercial and I would like to have it .. plus it’s very affordable.
I have also found that “prone holds” are great too .. holding body in a press up position .. (on your elbows with hands together and feet .. keeping your back straight) for 30 seconds then working your way up to a minute. Great for core strength. And if you have a swiss ball you can intensify this excersise by putting your elbows on the swiss ball
Good Luck
Thanks for posting this question cause this is an area I could use abit more help in too!!
